Kickstarter Backer Perspective:     Episode 6

The dinosaurs are coming back to life, reminds me quickly of a cool take on Jurassic Park. The other major selling point to this game is its designer has Dead of Winter in his corner.

I just recently got to play Evolution and loved the concept of that game, and this game seems to have a more strategic options. The artwork looks fantastic and tells a strong cohesive story.

Creating a thematic dino park has been something that I have been wanting to do for a long time. I mean really what could go wrong as I breed the largest T-Rex? Go check this game out on Kickstarter and just see what can happen.

Grant has created a beautiful tapestry of storytelling through his games and designs. Venturing forth into this new drafting/bluffing game based on the mysterious world of Dune.

When I initially saw this game I thought of Coup, but it has a deeper game play, and more meaningful options. The drafting and deception are handled smoothly.

Solstice has two options for purchase. You can get just the cards and play the game with your own makeshift counters, or you can get the full experience with the beautifully done wooden tokens.

Grant’s other one off game Druids is a magnificent testament to his creative brain, and the wood pieces help a story come to life. Go check this game out on Kickstarter

I was apprehensive when I saw the name to this game, but after reading how to play, and seeing just how cool this hidden information and set collecting game really is.

This game is very simple to play and quick to pick up. It has a small foot print which allows it to be a travel game, or a play over lunch game. The artwork is eye catching.

As is mentioned this is a game that can be played with the family, and it is not a game that out weighs its welcome. New gamers will quickly want to play this game and understand the strategies. Go check this cool little game out on Kickstarter

Wow! This game has such a cool premise. You are a within a human cell establishing yourself within the ecosystem. The game adheres itself to real scientific rules without being too heady or boring.

The artwork is excellent in allowing the imagination to “see” within the cells. Its a worker placement game that looks both intriguing and strategic.

Can you secretly  advance your goals and then grab your scoring tile without being blocked. Its all in the timing of how you play. Your decision making will affect your outcomes.
